  11. This program was written to provide computer keyboard control over the many    
  12. printer control options of the Star Micronics Gemini 10X or 15X printers.      
  13. The actual program is contained under the file name "GEM'PRTR.BAS" and runs    
  14. under the BASIC program language.  Extensive instructions are provide so that  
  15. even but the most inexperience PC user can execute this program.  An           
  16. installation program is also included that will automatically create a batch   
  17. file that will allow a simple one word command to execute this program.

  27. README.BAT   This file simply issues a TYPE command with the |MORE filter
  28.              to allow easy reading of the instruction file README.DOC.
  29.  
  30. README.DOC   This file provides detailed instructions on the use of the main
  31.              program PRT'CTRL.BAS.
  32.  
  33. GEM'PRTR.BAS This program written in GW-BASIC is the single program that 
  34.              provides all printer control commands.
  35.  
  36. INSTALL.BAT  This program selects on of the files FILE1.TMP, FILE2.TMP, or
  37.              FILE3.TMP and copies it as PRT.BAT.  The criterea for selection 
  38.              is  the aurgument entered after the INSTALL command which is to 
  39.              be the Basic call used by the user's computer.  This newly 
  40.              created PRT.BAT file then allows the user to call the Basic and 
  41.              the program in PRT'CTRL.BAS with only the command "PRT".

  43. FILE1.TMP    This file is the command line for use when the Basic call is
  44.              "BASICA".
  45.  
  46. FILE2.TMP    This file is the command line for use when the Basic call is
  47.              "GWBASIC".

  49. FILE3.TMP    This file is the command line for use when the Basic call is
  50.              "BASIC".
